How data enters Wrenfield.

This page documents the ingestion, resolution, and update cadence for every data source Wrenfield uses. It will change as sources are added. Prior versions are retained and dated.

§2 · ENTITY RESOLUTION

A single biotech entity appears in multiple sources under different legal names, abbreviations, and subsidiaries. CSL Limited, CSL Behring LLC, and CSL Seqirus Inc. are distinct legal entities but share parent ownership; Mirati Therapeutics Inc. and its post-acquisition successor under Bristol Myers Squibb must be reconciled.

Wrenfield applies a deterministic resolver — legal-suffix normalisation, jurisdiction-level registry cross-referencing — followed by a probabilistic layer using shared directors, shared addresses, and shared patent assignee relationships. Unresolved matches enter a manual review queue. No automatic merge occurs without a confidence threshold of 0.94.

§3 · PROVENANCE

Every record displayed on Wrenfield is linked to its upstream source by identifier, timestamp of retrieval, and a content hash. If an upstream record is retracted or amended, Wrenfield reflects the change within the next refresh cycle; prior states are retained in archive.

§4 · WHAT WRENFIELD DOES NOT DO

Wrenfield does not interpret clinical outcomes, does not forecast trial success, does not recommend investments, does not rank companies, and does not publish opinion. The platform surfaces the public record. Judgement is the reader's responsibility.

Wrenfield does not handle proprietary, confidential, or regulated personal data. Users are not tracked at the individual level; aggregated query patterns are retained under the terms of the privacy policy.
